I Have Frustration In Me

There is a series of books about a little girl named Junie B. Jones. She always has the right words for everything and every situation she finds herself in. One phrase she says is "I have frustration in me". I can totally relate with Junie B. right now. Since birth L has dealt with one thing after another. I'm usually patient about these things that have come our way but I maybe running out of it. Last May she got tubes for reoccuring ear infections. They seemed to have worked but now she has reoccuring sinus infections. She's actually scheduled to have her tonsils and adenoids removed on Tuesday but this past Friday she came down with what seems to be a virus or strep! Our family had plans to go to KC but after she got sick at the last minute we decided Josh and D should go and I would stay home with her in hopes of getting her well for tomorrow. Well she seems to be doing somewhat better but she still has a mild fever...ugh! I hate that my daughter is not well and can't seem to stay well. So Junie B., I get it! I have frustration in me too!!!

Random Thoughts on Last Year

2009 was an interesting year for our family. Here's some of what happened:

1. Jenn got sick and was sent to the ICU for three days.
2. D started PK!
3. L started daycare...it's been a big change but it's also been good for all of us.
4. L had surgery on her eyes. They look so much better!
5. Josh and Jenn renewed their vows for their 10 year anniversary.
6. Josh and Jenn went to the U2 concert!
7. Josh and Jenn sold their house.
8. Josh and Jenn bought a new house.
9. Road trip to KC. The way back was fun. Without saying too much we had a sick baby in the back.
10. Met a true Irishman and his English wife. They're really neat!
11. Blizzard of 2009
12. Went to a Children's Museum in Seminole. The kids loved it. I think we may go back again next summer!
13. Lots of puppies at Gram's.
14. D and L hung out with Nana and Grandpa.
15. Our family was truely blessed with a good year. It had it's setbacks but we're still alive and breathing. God continues to take care of us no matter what our circumstances are.
