Easter 2008

I got to spend spring break with my husband and kids. It was wonderful. All we did was stay home and play around the house. For my birthday we went to the "dinosaur museum". D loved it. Of course, he and Josh fooled around while L and I sat on the side lines watching the boys goof and play. She is definately a mommy's girl. To her mother's satisfaction she was upset that mom left her when it was time to go back to work. (Sorry Angie :)) I am truly in love with both of my children.

Easter was very rewarding. I have been working with D on what the true meaning is. Josh and I take Proverbs 22:6 personally. We don't do the Easter bunny, although D loves to hunt eggs!!! Can anybody say "money"? Last year he could tell you it was because Jesus died. This year it went something like this..."Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He went to Heaven in a cloud. Now He is alive!" I can see him learning and growing in that learning. I pray for him and L everyday...for their salvation. It is more important to me than anything else. I can never say "God has blessed us" enough.

What a beautiful story of love, trust and hope. "GOD can do anything you know..." Just Trust HIM.. Can't wait to see what HE has planned for your futures! I'm looking forward to watching your family grow and mature!! LGM

2. Walking in the nursery where D was born and seeing him for the first time.
3. Being pregnant with L even though it was hard.
4. Playing with D and L.
5. Taking pictures of D and L.
6. Spending time with my family.

Random Thoughts on Last Year

2009 was an interesting year for our family. Here's some of what happened:

1. Jenn got sick and was sent to the ICU for three days.
2. D started PK!
3. L started daycare...it's been a big change but it's also been good for all of us.
4. L had surgery on her eyes. They look so much better!
5. Josh and Jenn renewed their vows for their 10 year anniversary.
6. Josh and Jenn went to the U2 concert!
7. Josh and Jenn sold their house.
8. Josh and Jenn bought a new house.
9. Road trip to KC. The way back was fun. Without saying too much we had a sick baby in the back.
10. Met a true Irishman and his English wife. They're really neat!
11. Blizzard of 2009
12. Went to a Children's Museum in Seminole. The kids loved it. I think we may go back again next summer!
13. Lots of puppies at Gram's.
14. D and L hung out with Nana and Grandpa.
15. Our family was truely blessed with a good year. It had it's setbacks but we're still alive and breathing. God continues to take care of us no matter what our circumstances are.
